Job summary

Greenleaf House in Biggar, South Lanarkshire, is seeking staff to join our residential care team. You will provide therapeutic care and support to young people, working 14-hour shifts with sleepovers in a dynamic, trauma-informed setting.

We offer a competitive salary (£34,976–£37,447 OTE) with overtime at time and a half, plus a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Experience in a residential children’s home.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to work shifts, including sleepovers.
• UK manual driving licence.
• Understanding safeguarding and child protection.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to children and young people in line with policies.
• Contribute to assessment and delivery of support programmes.
• Attend planning and review meetings and participate in a key person system.
• Ensure accurate recording of information in line with policies.
• Work shifts including sleepovers and long hours.
• Promote safeguarding and maintaining a safe environment.
