Job summary

Branas Isaf & CareTech in Bala, North Wales, is hiring a Residential Support Worker to assist children with emotional and behavioural needs in a therapeutic setting. Full-time role with a 3-month rota, sleep-ins, and the chance to develop essential life skills with supportive colleagues.

You don’t need prior experience; training is provided. A full UK manual driving licence is required, and you’ll join a team committed to safeguarding and positive outcomes for young people.

Qualifications

• Experience in care settings preferred but not required.
• Ability to build trust with children and young people.
• Willingness to work unsociable hours including sleep-ins.
• Full UK manual driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide emotional and practical support to children and young people with complex needs.
• Work as part of a therapeutic care team alongside education and clinical professionals.
• Support young people to build independence, confidence and life skills.
• Create a safe, structured and nurturing home environment.
• Take part in meaningful activities that promote positive outcomes.
• This is a full-time role with sleep-ins and a 3-month rota issued in advance.
