Job summary

Pro-Staffing Locums Limited invites two Therapeutic Radiographers to join a radiotherapy department delivering cancer treatment in Oxfordshire. You will provide accurate, safe radiotherapy while supporting patients through their care journey.

Responsibilities include planning and delivering radiotherapy with linear accelerators, performing image-guided checks, giving information and reassurance to patients, monitoring side effects, and supervising students and junior radiographers.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver radiotherapy treatments using linear accelerators and related technology.
• Perform image-guided radiotherapy checks to ensure treatment accuracy.
• Provide information, reassurance and support to patients during treatment.
• Monitor patients for side effects and refer to the wider team where needed.
• Supervise and support students and junior radiographers.
• Follow radiation protection regulations (IR(ME)R) and departmental quality standards.
