Responsibilities include planning and delivering radiotherapy using linear accelerators, performing image-guided checks, and ensuring adherence to IR(ME)R and departmental standards while supervising students and junior radiographers.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver radiotherapy treatments using linear accelerators and related technology.
• Perform image-guided radiotherapy checks to ensure treatment accuracy.
• Provide information, reassurance and support to patients during treatment.
• Monitor patients for side effects and refer to the wider team where needed.
• Supervise and support students and junior radiographers.
• Follow radiation protection regulations (IR(ME)R) and departmental quality standards.
