Job summary

London Borough of Waltham Forest’s Holy Family Catholic School in London is seeking a Therapeutic Interventions Officer to join the Provisions team on a fixed-term basis. 36 hours per week, term-time only plus INSET days, salary £30,843 to £31,731.

You will have experience in therapeutic and pastoral work with young people, particularly those with behavioural challenges, supporting SEND provision and wider school interventions.

Qualifications

• Experience in therapeutic and pastoral work with young people.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside the Provisions Manager and contribute to wider interventions across the school, including SEND provision.
• Help remove barriers to learning and improve engagement with the curriculum.
• Support pupils who may present behavioural challenges and support staff in implementing therapeutic strategies.
