Job summary

London Borough of Waltham Forest’s Holy Family Catholic School in London is seeking a Therapeutic Interventions Officer to join the Provisions team on a fixed-term basis. 36 hours per week, term-time only plus INSET days, salary £30,843 to £31,731.

You will have experience in therapeutic and pastoral work with young people, particularly those with behavioural challenges, supporting SEND provision and wider school interventions.

To work alongside the Provisions Manager, we are seeking to appoint a well organised and committed therapeutic interventions officer.

The successful candidate will have experience in therapeutic and pastoral work with young people, particularly those who may present a range of behavioural challenges. In addition to supporting the Provisions Manager, the post-holder will contribute to wider interventions across the school, including work related to SEND provision.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with young people-especially those who have experienced adversity or vulnerability-to help remove barriers to learning and improve engagement with the curriculum.
