Job summary

Holy Family Catholic School in Walthamstow is seeking a well organised therapeutic interventions officer to join the Provisions Manager. You will have experience in therapeutic and pastoral work with young people, especially those with behavioural challenges.

The role covers wider interventions across the school including SEND provision, is 36 hours per week, term-time only plus INSET days, and is a fixed term contract to 31 August 2029.

To work alongside the Provisions Manager, we are seeking to appoint a well organised and committed therapeutic interventions officer.

The successful candidate will have experience in therapeutic and pastoral work with young people, particularly those who may present a range of behavioural challenges. In addition to supporting the Provisions Manager, the post-holder will contribute to wider interventions across the school, including work related to SEND provision.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with young people-especially those who have experienced adversity or vulnerability-to help remove barriers to learning and improve engagement with the curriculum.

Hours: 36 hours per week, Term Time Only plus INSET days (part-time or flexible hours possible). Fixed Term until 31st August 2029.
