Job summary

Five Rivers in Doncaster, South Yorkshire, is seeking Higher Level Teaching Assistants to join Field Gate School, an Ofsted registered SEMH provision. You will support teachers in classrooms and the community, assisting pupils who cannot attend school within a therapeutic, trauma‑informed setting.

The role offers full‑time hours (37.5 per week, term time aligned) with ongoing training and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Good written and IT skills.
• Able to communicate with children, colleagues, and external customers.
• Able to actively listen to others.
• Valid Driving Licence – this is essential for this role
• Have the Right to Work in the UK

Responsibilities

• Support teachers by assisting in the classrooms and the community for children who cannot attend school.
• Work within a trauma-informed practice model to support children and young people.
• Contribute to the organisation's progression and training opportunities.
