Job summary

Serco is seeking a TC Forensic Psychologist to join the Psychological Services team at HMP Dovegate, Uttoxeter. You will deliver psychological assessments and support residents through their therapeutic journey, contributing to risk reduction and rehabilitation within a multidisciplinary framework.

The role requires HCPC registration (or close to registration) and experience with offenders, delivering assessments and interventions.

Qualifications

• Registered Forensic Psychologist with HCPC or near registration.
• Experience delivering psychological assessment and intervention in forensic settings with offenders.
• Strong report-writing, communication and clinical assessment skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver psychological assessments including HCR-20, SARA, WAIS, IPDE and PCL-R as required.
• Facilitate therapy groups and support residents throughout their therapeutic journey and risk reduction work.
• Complete parole reports and other clinical reports within required deadlines.
• Collaborate with healthcare, offender management, education and other professionals to support resident outcomes.
• Provide supervision and line management support to Forensic Psychologists in Training where appropriate.
• Support the delivery and continuous improvement of Psychological Services within the Therapeutic Community.
