Job summary

Insight Care Group is seeking a dedicated Children’s Residential Support Worker in Birmingham. You will help deliver therapeutic care in a safe setting and support children with learning disabilities, autism and related needs.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people in residential care.
• Strong organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commitment to safety, well-being and development of children.
• Empathetic and resilient nature.
• Full UK driving licence (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding therapeutic care and create a safe, stimulating environment for children.
• Act as a positive role model for young people and colleagues.
• Support life skills, independence and personal development; plan engaging activities.
• Develop and update personalised care plans, risk assessments, and behaviour support plans.
• Maintain safeguarding compliance and comply with Ofsted standards.
• Communicate effectively with children, families and external agencies.
