Job summary

Brook Street Social Care in Birmingham is seeking a Senior Residential Support Worker to join our children's residential care team across Yardley Wood, Kings Heath, Moseley and Oldbury. This full-time, permanent role offers 160 hours per month and the opportunity to take on more responsibility and support junior colleagues.

You will support children and young people in a residential setting, promote safeguarding, help lead shifts, manage challenging behaviour using de-escalation techniques,

Qualifications

  • Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare or equivalent – Essential.
  • Minimum 1 year's children's residential experience.
  • Full UK Driving Licence – Essential.
  • Access to your own car – Essential.
  • Strong safeguarding and EBD experience.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and sleep-ins.

Are you an experienced Children's Residential Support Worker ready to take the next step in your career?

We're looking for a Senior Residential Support Worker to join an established children's residential care provider across Birmingham.
