An opportunity has arisen for two permanent Theatre Store Health Care support worker. These posts will be based across a range of perioperative specialities. As part of an expanding team, the successful candidates will be responsible for stock management and rotation. They will also have significant responsibility for tracking, tracing and re-ordering of stock, including implants. The post holders will regularly work unsupervised with the wider team available to assist at any time. They may also be required to support with the set-up of instrumentation or loan kits for surgery.
Candidates must be professional and committed to quality, teamwork and patient care. They must be able to organise and manage their own workload as well as having effective communication across the multidisciplinary team. Experience in stock management within a Theatre department would be valuable.
The Golden Jubilee University National Hospital is based in Clydebank, close to transport links and Glasgow city centre. The Theatre Department consists of 20 Theatres and services specialities such as Cardiac, Thoracics, General/Colorectal and Orthopaedics.
