As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will be integral to our multidisciplinary teams, delivering high-quality, patient-centered care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Effective communication, teamwork, and a commitment to high standards are essential.
We are looking for a dedicated individual with experience in healthcare, preferably with acute care experience. Key skills include venepuncture, cannulation, blood glucose recording, and wound care. A caring attitude and excellent interpersonal skills are vital, along with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
Location: Acute Medicine Receiving Unit, a 68-bed unit supporting 24-72 hour patient journeys, focused on maximizing recovery through a patient-centered approach supported by a multidisciplinary team.
Requirements: Compliance with the national "Mandatory Induction Standards for Healthcare Support Workers 2009" and the Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers. You must meet the mandatory induction standards in Scotland and adhere to the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
