An opportunity has arisen for two permanent Theatre Store Healthcare Support Workers. These positions will be based across various perioperative specialties. As part of an expanding team, successful candidates will be responsible for stock management and rotation, including tracking, tracing, and re-ordering stock such as implants. The post holders will often work independently, with support available from the wider team, and may assist with setting up instrumentation or loan kits for surgeries.
Candidates must be professional, committed to quality, teamwork, and patient care. They should be able to organize and manage their workload effectively and communicate well within a multidisciplinary team. Experience in stock management within a Theatre department would be advantageous.
The Golden Jubilee University National Hospital, located in Clydebank near transport links and Glasgow city centre, has a Theatre Department with 20 theatres serving specialties like Cardiac, Thoracics, General/Colorectal, and Orthopaedics.
