Position Details

This is a permanent, full-time position. The shift pattern is rotational, covering Monday to Sunday.

Role Overview

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Band 3 Healthcare Assistant to join our team in AMU Ward 2 at RAH. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to work independently under the supervision of the RN, utilizing their enhanced skills to deliver excellent care.

Candidate Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Healthcare Support Worker in an inpatient hospital setting.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Interest in developing further within the role.
  • Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and reprioritize workload as needed.
  • Energetic, flexible, and capable with a commitment to high-quality, compassionate care.
  • Knowledge of the Mandatory Induction Standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and adherence to the Code of Conduct.
