NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is recruiting clinical support workers for three positions in Imaging Departments across the Clyde sector. These roles vary in hours and shifts, focusing on patient care during imaging procedures. The ideal candidates will have extensive experience in a clinical support role, be enthusiastic, and patient-focused.
NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK, employing around 40,000 staff across a wide range of clinical and non-clinical roles. We provide acute hospital, primary, community, and mental health services to a population of over 1.15 million, extending to 2.2 million when regional and national services are included.
We are recruiting for three permanent positions in the Imaging Departments of the Clyde Sector. We seek enthusiastic clinical support workers to assist with patient care during imaging procedures.
Based at Royal Alexandra Hospital, this full-time role involves a 37-hour week with a mix of 7.5-hour and 12-hour day and night shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
Also based at Royal Alexandra Hospital with rotational shifts to Vale of Leven Hospital, this part-time role involves 29.8 hours per week across four days, including weekends and public holidays, with similar shift patterns as Post 1.
Located at Inverclyde Royal Hospital, this part-time role involves 22.2 hours weekly, with 12-hour shifts every second weekend and 7.5-hour day shifts, including public holidays.
The roles involve patient preparation, working with Radiology IT systems for patient identification, and assisting with procedures such as IV cannulation. Candidates should have extensive experience as clinical support workers in hospital settings and be patient-focused.
