Job summary

Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Clinical Practice Educator to join the Theatres Education Team in Anaesthetics & Recovery. The role focuses on teaching, supporting, and developing staff to deliver high-quality patient care across Churchill Theatres & Day Surgery Unit.

You will work collaboratively with the education team to deliver local and theatre-specific training and contribute to staff development across all grades within 19 theatres.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing/ODP/Health Care Studies or equivalent.
• Specific Qualification - Theatres.
• Practice Supervisor & Assessor Course.
• Anaesthetic & Recovery experience.
• Experience supporting students/new staff.
• Desirable: Postgraduate study at level 7.

• Support the education and development of staff and students within the clinical area.
• Demonstrate excellent communication, influencing, and leadership skills.
• Lead and participate in interprofessional education across theatres to improve patient care.
