Job summary

Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 6 Clinical Practice Educator for the Paediatric Critical Care team. The role blends hands-on clinical practice with education and workforce development to elevate patient care and learner growth.

You will lead and support nursing teams, promote evidence-based practice, and participate in teaching and mentoring across shifts, including days and nights. A Postgraduate Certificate in Education is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Evidence of post-registration experience in Paediatric Critical Care.
• Experience in clinical education, supervision and learner assessment.
• Ability to lead and motivate colleagues within a multi-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate learning within the clinical environment and support staff development.
• Identify training needs and develop educational resources.
• Deliver education programmes in Paediatric Critical Care and wider Directorate.
• Provide clinical leadership and role modelling across shifts.
