Job summary

Nuffield Health Exeter Hospital is seeking a Theatre Manager to lead our Theatre, Cath Lab and Endoscopy teams, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care and compliance with governance standards.

You will bring a nursing/practitioner qualification and senior clinical leadership experience, with teaching, assessment and ILS/ALS skills; a management qualification is advantageous. Core hours are Monday to Friday with some weekend work and on-call duties.

Qualifications

A nursing/practitioner qualification and senior-level clinical leadership experience.
Specialist training in theatre, with ILS/ALS knowledge.
A professional management qualification would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

Leading and inspiring our Theatre, Cath Lab and Endoscopy teams.
Championing safe, effective and high-quality patient care.
Building strong relationships with consultants and multidisciplinary teams.
Developing, motivating and supporting staff to achieve clinical outcomes.
Managing budgets, business planning and clinical governance.
Collaborating across departments to deliver exceptional patient experiences.
Driving continuous improvement and advancing the hospital's care standards.
