Job description

Are you an experienced theatre technician with a passion for the arts and a drive to deliver exceptional live events?

Mansfield District Council is seeking a skilled and proactive Theatre Technician to join our dynamic Cultural Services team at the Mansfield Palace Theatre.

In this hands-on role, you’ll take a lead on the technical delivery of our National Portfolio Organisation (NPO) programme, supporting a wide range of performances, community events, and creative projects. You’ll also work across capital developments, manage technical assets, and ensure safe working practices across all production and backstage activity.

We’re looking for someone with a technical background, a commitment to safety, and the confidence to support colleagues, artists, and visiting companies in delivering high-quality, inclusive cultural experiences.

As part of Arts Council England’s National Portfolio, this role offers the chance to make a real impact – from shaping large-scale productions to supporting sustainability and innovation across our programme.
