Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Theatre Team Leader to join the staff at Alnwick Infirmary, covering a wide range of day case surgery. This role involves working alongside existing Band 6 staff to deliver efficient, safe, and diverse services to the communities of Alnwick, Berwick, and Morpeth. The position is based at Alnwick, with support provided to Berwick Hospital and Morpeth Unit as needed.

You must be dynamic, flexible, forward-thinking, and motivated to drive change and develop creative ways of working to meet trust-wide service needs.

This full-time role involves managing the services of Surgery and Endoscopy at Alnwick, ensuring resource availability for safe and efficient patient care. You will provide strong leadership, support staff training, and ensure high standards of care. Coordination with other sites will be necessary to ensure adequate equipment and appropriate skill mix, with practices aligned to governance standards.
