Job summary

The London Clinic is seeking a Band 3 Theatre Healthcare Assistant to join its Operating Theatres team at 20 Devonshire Place, London. You will support patients throughout their surgical journey, assist with equipment preparation, and work under supervision to deliver safe, personalised care.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a theatre department.
• Good literacy, numeracy and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and complete relevant training.

Responsibilities

• Prepare theatres, instruments and supplies before operating lists.
• Collect patients and support safe transfer, positioning and return after surgery.
• Provide reassurance while protecting dignity, privacy and individual needs.
• Support the scrub practitioner in the circulating role and assist with checks.
• Keep theatres and equipment clean following infection prevention procedures.
• Maintain stock levels and complete department documentation.
