The role includes preparing the theatre environment and equipment, assisting with patient transfers and positioning, maintaining stock levels, supporting infection prevention and cleanliness standards, and undertaking delegated clinical duties within the limits of competence and training. • The role also involves maintaining cleanliness and infection prevention standards, replenishing stock, checking equipment and reporting any shortages, defects or safety concerns. The postholder will undertake delegated clinical and non-clinical duties within their level of competence, maintain patient dignity and confidentiality, and communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and teamwork skills, a caring and professional approach, and the ability to work effectively in a busy and demanding environment.
