Job summary

Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 5 Theatre Practitioner Scrub Nurse to join the Day Surgery Unit at West Berkshire Community Hospital. You will scrub and circulate across specialties including Maxillo Facial, Plastics, General Surgery, ENT, Ophthalmology, Orthopaedics and Vascular, with opportunities in recovery and Endoscopy.

Qualifications

• HCPC registered ODP or NMC registered nurse with scrub experience.
• Rotation through a variety of specialties.
• In-house development opportunities and preceptorship.

Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate for Maxillo Facial, Plastics, General Surgery, ENT, Ophthalmology, Orthopaedics and Vascular.
• Work across Recovery and Endoscopy areas as required.
• Demonstrate high standards of practice with effective communication and decision making.
