Job summary

Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Recovery Practitioner (Band 6) for the Theatre Recovery team at Aintree University Hospital. This permanent, part-time role offers 30.5 hours per week with on-call commitment.

The post requires a minimum of three years' experience in Recovery or ITU, and a proactive leader who can coordinate shifts, support multidisciplinary teams, and drive service improvements within our four theatres.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of theatre procedures.
• Professional portfolio demonstrating CPD and leadership experience.
• Experience in multi-professional working, mentorship and change management.
• Strong communication, motivation and prioritisation skills.

Responsibilities

• Rotate across four recovery areas to meet service needs and develop skills.
• Support theatre recovery workflows with shift coordination and delegation.
• Provide leadership and contribute to governance and incident management.
