Job summary

Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust is recruiting a Clinical Sourcing Manager to bridge procurement and theatres in Kent and Medway IC. The role focuses on identifying and delivering savings, running trials of alternate products, and negotiating terms with suppliers.

You will monitor supplier performance, present spend analyses to clinical leaders, and collaborate with peers across Kent & Medway to drive standardisation and economies of scale.

Qualifications

• Calm influencing and persuasive negotiating style
• Strong organisational abilities and project management
• Advanced MS Office skills and data analysis capabilities
• Experience with clinical procurement systems and supplier management

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver the procurement savings strategy in theatres (target of £500,000 per annum)
• Facilitate trials of alternate products
• Negotiate favourable contractual terms with suppliers
• Monitor and manage supplier performance against agreed terms
• Produce and present analysis on spend data to clinical leaders
• Act as a conduit between procurement and theatres
• Collaborate with peer organisations across Kent & Medway to drive standardisation and economies of scale
