Job summary

2gether Support Solutions Limited is seeking an experienced Category Manager to join its procurement function serving East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust. You will lead strategic sourcing, manage complex procurements and develop category strategies in a highly regulated NHS environment.

Based at William Harvey Hospital, the role requires strong contracting, negotiation and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of delivering savings and compliant processes.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent professional experience is required.
• MCIPS membership or progress is desirable.
• Experience in NHS/public sector procurement is advantageous.
• End-to-end ITTs and framework call-offs experience welcome.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic sourcing strategies and routes to market.
• Lead complex procurement exercises including tenders and mini-competitions.
• Ensure compliance with Procurement Act 2023 and Provider Selection Regime.
• Deliver cost savings and value through Cost Improvement Programmes.
• Collaborate with clinical, operational and corporate stakeholders to shape procurement solutions.
• Support contract management, mobilisation, performance monitoring and renewals.
