Job summary

Nuffield Health Exeter Hospital is seeking a Theatre Practitioner to support Consultants in scrub and anaesthetics within the Exeter Hospital. Bank/Ad Hoc role offering autonomous work with high standards and varied caseload using state-of-the-art equipment.

As a registered Theatre Nurse or ODP, you’ll bring post‑registration orthopaedic scrub experience, excellent communication, and teamwork to a close-knit multidisciplinary team, with opportunities for growth and development across theatre

Qualifications

• Registered Theatre Nurse or ODP with NMC/HCPC registration.
• Post-registration orthopaedic scrub experience.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Support consultants during procedures.
• Supervise and develop junior staff.
• Maintain sterile operating environment and safety protocols.
• Monitor patient vitals and anaesthetics administration.
