Job summary

Nuffield Health Glasgow Hospital is seeking a Scrub Practitioner/Theatre Practitioner (ODP) to join our theatre team on a part-time basis. You will work in a multi-disciplinary team, providing focused, high-quality perioperative care and contributing to excellent patient experiences.

You must be registered with HCPC or NMC and have post‑registration scrub experience. We value empathetic, detail‑oriented professionals with strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.

Qualifications

• Registered with the appropriate governing body (HCPC or NMC).
• Post-registration experience in Scrub or Theatre roles.
• Team player with a passion for exceptional patient care.

Theatre Practitioner - Scrub

Glasgow Hospital | Theatre | Part Time (Full-Time position may be considered) | Permanent Contract | Includes weekend work
Up to £41,250 per annum pro rata, depending on experience

24 hours per week

As a Scrub Practitioner/Theatre Practitioner (ODP) at our hospital, you’ll be focused, detail-oriented empathetic with great communication skills.You’re registered with the appropriate governing body, and you bring the qualifications and experience relevant to your registration, including NMC or HCPC. With post-registration experience in Scrub roles within a Theatre environment, you’re a team player with a passion for exceptional patient care.

As a Scrub Practitioner or Theatre Practitioner (ODP),you will:

• Work in a multi disciplinary team covering a varied patient caseload
• Use state-of-the-art technology, equipment and facilities
• Supervise, support and develop junior members of the team
• Provide high-quality perioperative care in a multidisciplinary team setting
• Create high-quality care and patient experiences that are clinically effective and evidence based
• Have ample opportunities for continuous growth and personal development, which can include Surgical First Assist training.
