Job description

Following a restructure of Eye Surgical Services, exciting opportunities have arisen for enthusiastic, highly motivated and ambitious staff to join our dynamic unit and who strive to deliver a positive patient experience.

This post would provide opportunities for a nurse to develop both professionally and personally, through local training and external professional courses., Please refer to the attached Job Description and Person Specification for further details of the job role.

We are looking for a motivated registered nurse or operating department practitioner to join our highly graded theatre team at Prince Charles Eye Day Bed Unit, Windsor.

The team's ambition to provide outstanding patient-centred care was recognised and awarded in 2024 with a Royal Berkshire Team of the Year CARE Award.

The post is suitable for both newly qualified or experienced practitioners. You would work as part of a highly skilled team.

Candidates interested in developing a career in ophthalmology day surgery will have the opportunity to develop a range of relevant skills as we have a dedicated education team in place with a comprehensive education strategy which underpins the development of all grades of staff within theatres, facilitating career development and progression.
