Job summary

Nuffield Health Bournemouth Hospital is seeking a Theatre Practitioner (ODP) for bank, part-time shifts. You will join a multidisciplinary theatre team delivering perioperative care.

The role offers opportunities to work with state-of-the-art equipment, develop skills including Surgical First Assistant training, and contribute to high-quality patient experiences. Bank work is ad-hoc and flexible to fit your availability.

Qualifications

• Theatre Practitioner (ODP) with valid registration and preference for bank/part-time roles.
• Experience in perioperative care and operating theatre environments.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and adapt to varying caseload.

Responsibilities

• Work in a multi disciplinary team covering a varied patient caseload
• Use state-of-the-art technology, equipment and facilities
• Supervise, support and develop junior members of the team
• Provide high-quality perioperative care in a multidisciplinary team setting
• Create high-quality care and patient experiences that are clinically effective and evidence based
• Have ample opportunities for continuous growth and personal development, which can include Surgical First Assist training.
