Job summary

Nuffield Health Bournemouth Hospital is seeking a Theatre Practitioner (ODP) to join our perioperative team. You will work within a multidisciplinary environment, providing high-quality scrub and perioperative care, using state-of-the-art equipment, and supporting junior colleagues to maintain exceptional patient experiences.

This bank/part-time role offers flexible hours, a competitive hourly rate up to £24 depending on experience, plus access to our pension scheme and staff gym membership.

Qualifications

• Registered with HCPC or NMC and relevant perioperative experience.
• Post-registration theatre scrub experience in a Theatre environment.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Work in a multi disciplinary team covering a varied patient caseload
• Use state-of-the-art technology, equipment and facilities
• Supervise, support and develop junior members of the team
• Provide high-quality perioperative care in a multidisciplinary team setting
• Create high-quality care and patient experiences that are clinically effective and evidence based
• Have ample opportunities for continuous growth and personal development, which can include Surgical First Assist training

With post-registration experience in Scrub roles within a Theatre environment, you’re a team player with a passion for exceptional patient care.
