Job summary

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (NMC) or ODP (HCPC) registration is required.
• Theatre environment experience in scrub, anaesthetics or recovery is preferred.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain infection control.

Responsibilities

• Prepare instruments, maintain sterility and support the surgical team.
• Assist anaesthetist with equipment prep, patient monitoring and positioning.
• Provide post-operative care, monitor vitals, manage pain and nausea.
• Set up theatres according to surgery type and patient needs.
• Adhere to infection control policies and report faults.
• Work with multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, efficient lists.
