The Wilmslow Hospital, part of HCA UK, is seeking a Theatre Practitioner – Anaesthetics and Recovery to join our theatre team. This full-time role involves 37.5 hours per week, with shifts across four days (Mon–Sat), early start times, and overtime/on-call commitments.

The hospital delivers consultant-led care with state-of-the-art facilities in a private setting. You will work within a multidisciplinary team, handling anaesthesia preparation, intraoperative support, and post‑anaesthetic

Qualifikationen

• HCPC or NMC registration is required.
• Post‑registration theatre experience is required.
• Proven experience in anaesthetics and recovery.
• Postgraduate anaesthetics course for nurses is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Deliver high standards of perioperative patient care.
• Assist anaesthetist during surgery and support recovery nursing.
• Prepare patients for anaesthesia and monitor during the perioperative journey.
• Provide skilled post-anaesthetic care in the recovery area.
• Collaborate with the theatre team to share knowledge and ensure patient safety.
