The Wilmslow Hospital, part of HCA UK, is recruiting a Theatre Practitioner specialising in Anaesthetics and Recovery. This full‑time role involves preparing patients for anaesthesia, supporting the anaesthetist during procedures, and delivering high‑quality post‑anaesthetic care across ophthalmology, ENT, urology, orthopaedics, plastic surgery and gynaecology.

Formación

• Qualified Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) or Registered Nurse with active HCPC/NMC registration.
• Post-registration experience in a theatre environment.
• Proven experience in anaesthetics and recovery settings.
• Completion of a postgraduate anaesthetics course (for nurses).

Responsabilidades

• Deliver high standards of patient care across the perioperative journey.
• Assess, plan, deliver and evaluate perioperative care for diverse case mix.
• Prepare patients for anaesthesia and support the anaesthetist during procedures.
• Provide skilled post-anaesthetic care in recovery.
• Collaborate with the theatre team to share knowledge and support colleagues.
