Spire South Bank Hospital Worcester is looking to recruit experienced and committed Theatre staff / ODPs to join our friendly operating theatre team. Consultants come to work with us from all across the UK, and you will work closely with them, gaining exposure to the latest innovative, evidence-based clinical techniques.
Most importantly, our Theatre staff / ODPs are experienced in a variety of surgical procedures or are willing to learn new procedures and techniques under expert supervision. We are keen to promote from within the Spire network, offering long-term career growth and advancement opportunities.
The hospital covers a wide range of surgical procedures. You will support in assessing patients' health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload, assisting in the delivery of care to meet patients' needs. You will actively promote best practices, contribute towards quality improvements, collect, collate, and organise data, interpret information, and make justifiable assessments, sharing these with relevant colleagues.
Ideally, you will be a Registered Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner, experienced in team working and capable of working with minimal supervision. Competence across a range of skills, supported by professional and clinical knowledge acquired through state registration or practitioner qualification and additional training, is desirable.
