East and North Hertfordshire Teaching NHS Trust in Stevenage is recruiting a Theatre Porter for the Lister Hospital. The role requires flexibility as the theatre porter operates in a 24/7 department across the year.

Previous hospital experience is desirable but training will be provided. A strong focus on safety, teamwork and delivering patient-centred care is essential as you support the theatre and wider Trust operations.

Qualifications

• English and Maths to GCSE level.
• Willingness to undertake training as required.
• Good customer care skills.

Responsabilités

• The Porter moves patients by bed, wheelchairs and trolleys.
• Change medical gases, collect blood products and take specimens where needed.
• Adhere to Health and Safety policies and procedures.
• Co-operate with the Trust to maintain high safety standards and practices.
• Participate in training and apply skills to the role as required.
