Job summary

Nuffield Health Oxford Hospital is seeking a Clinical Leader for the Theatre, Endoscopy and Surgical Department. You will guide the team, ensure smooth theatre lists, and support safe, high-quality patient care in a busy environment.

The role is a part-time fixed-term maternity cover, 30 hours per week, with pro-rata pay up to £47,000 depending on experience. You must be registered with the relevant governing body and have post-registration experience in surgery/anaesthetics.

Qualifications

• Registered with the appropriate governing body (e.g., NMC or HCPC).
• Post-registration experience in surgery/anaesthetics.
• Experience in leading a theatre/surgical team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Clinical/Surgical and Endoscopy team within theatre and manage theatre lists.
• Collaborate across theatre suites to meet service demands (Endoscopy, General, Orthopaedics, Gynae).
• Promote clinical risk management, governance, and continuous quality improvement.
