Nuffield Health Leeds Hospital is seeking a Clinical Leader to oversee Endoscopy and theatre services. You will lead a team, ensure smooth theatre operations, and drive governance and risk management to maintain highest patient care standards.

The role requires registered nursing status with post-registration surgical/anaesthetics experience and a strong capability in leadership and collaboration within a private hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with post-registration experience in surgery/anaesthetics.
• Experience in Endoscopy and theatre governance is required.
• Knowledge of JAG accreditation processes and audits is essential.

Responsibilities

• Organise and lead the Endoscopy team within theatre and manage theatre lists.
• Collaborate across theatre suites to meet service demands (Endoscopy, General, Gynae).
• Promote clinical risk management and governance; ensure policies and procedures are followed.

Clinical Leader Leeds Hospital | Nursing | Permanent contract | Part time | Competitive based on experience 20 hours per week

We are looking for a Clinical Leader for our Hospital to help us build a healthier nation. you're registered with the appropriate governing body and you have the relevant qualifications and post registration in surgery/anaesthetics experience, including as a Registered Nurse or HCPC Registered Operating Department Practitioner. With strong clinical leadership, you will guide your team a shared vision promoting innovation and sustainability. As a clinical leader, you will have good communication and organisational skills and the ability to work as part of a team, knowledge and understanding of running a smooth & effective department equipment is also essential.

As our Clinical Leader, you will:

• Conduct and organize the Endoscopy team within theatre, which include the smooth running of the theatre lists and organizing booking forms and assisting sessions in theatres
• Work collaboratively and flexibly across the theatre suites to accommodate the service demands of each department, which include Endoscopy, General, Gynae
• Promote effective clinical risk management and governance within the department, including safety and risk management, quality improvement and ensure policies and procedure, to enhance patient care and service delivery.
• Have experience of working towards JAG accreditation and can demonstrate a clear understanding of the requirements to achieve this, as well as maintain it.
• Have extensive knowledge required for dealing with audits and equipment.
• Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of surgical techniques and associated equipment
