About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the technical team at the Stephen A. Schwarzman Centre for the Humanities, a major new cultural venue at the University of Oxford.
This role offers the chance to work across a range of professional performance spaces, supporting a varied programme of events including theatre, music, film and exhibitions. You will assist in the delivery and operation of events, working alongside experienced technicians and supporting visiting artists, students and external companies.
The position involves hands-on technical work across lighting, sound and video, contributing to the smooth running of events and the ongoing development of the Centre’s facilities.

Joining at a key stage as the Centre opens to the public, you will play an important role in shaping a new, high-quality cultural programme designed to engage a wide range of audiences.
You will be an enthusiastic and reliable individual who enjoys practical work, values teamwork, has a basic level of events experience, and is keen to develop your technical skills within a professional arts environment.
Flexible working hours are required, including evenings and weekends.

Salary (£) : £32,108 per annum (pro rata), equivalent to £16.92 per hour
