Job summary

10 Recruitment Ltd is looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to manage the afternoon shift in a busy textile manufacturing operation. You will drive day-to-day production, lead a hands-on team and ensure targets, quality and safety standards are met.

You will supervise, motivate and develop your team, coordinate with maintenance, and maintain smooth production flow in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience within manufacturing.
• Experience managing production teams and achieving targets.
• Strong leadership skills and the confidence to make decisions.
• Good knowledge of health and safety in a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• Confidence using Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Leading from the front – Supervising, supporting and motivating your production team to achieve their best.
• Keeping things moving – Overseeing daily production, machinery performance, workflow and shift targets.
• Hitting those targets – Monitoring productivity, efficiency, downtime and quality to keep everything on track.
• Solving problems – Spotting issues early, reducing downtime and working with maintenance teams to keep production flowing.
• Quality matters – Making sure products meet the required standards and tackling any quality concerns.
• Making things better – Finding smarter ways of working, reducing waste and improving performance.
• Safety first – Maintaining high health and safety standards and a safe, well-organised working environment.
• Managing your team – Supporting training, attendance, performance and day-to-day people management.
• Keeping everyone in the loop – Running shift briefings, completing reports and communicating with other departments.
