Job summary

10 Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Production Supervisor for a hands-on afternoon shift in a textile manufacturing setting. You will lead a motivated team, oversee daily production, optimise machinery performance and drive targets while maintaining quality and safety standards.

This role offers a real chance to influence production performance, manage people, and improve processes on a Monday–Friday 2pm–10pm schedule with hourly pay of £14.00–£15.00, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience within manufacturing.
• Experience managing production teams and achieving targets.
• Strong leadership and decision-making confidence.
• Good knowledge of health and safety in a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook and Teams.
• Textile manufacturing experience is a plus but leadership experience is what counts.

Responsibilities

• Leading from the front – Supervising, supporting and motivating your production team to achieve their best.
• Keeping things moving – Overseeing daily production, machinery performance, workflow and shift targets.
• Hitting those targets – Monitoring productivity, efficiency, downtime and quality to keep everything on track.
• Solving problems – Spotting issues early, reducing downtime and working with maintenance teams to keep production flowing.
• Quality matters – Making sure products meet the required standards and tackling any quality concerns.
