We’re excited to offer an opportunity for a motivated, team-oriented individual eager to make a real impact. BRE’s acoustic team seeks a technician to help grow our department. You’ll work on various testing projects in our acoustic testing facilities, measuring sound insulation and sound power. You’ll get involved in testing diverse items—from doors and windows to innovative sustainable technologies like heat pumps, and even everyday products like hair dryers. This role offers exciting opportunities in testing, innovation, and certification processes.
There’s significant potential for growth, as we plan to expand our team and facilities over the next 12 to 18 months. If you’re looking for a role where you can develop and be part of something big, this could be ideal!
This role involves direct interaction with customers, including engaging over the phone and in person. You will manage sample deliveries, supervise installations, and provide health and safety inductions at our test facility.
No prior experience is necessary as full training will be provided. The role can be physically demanding at times, but we support your growth through a tailored development plan. Opportunities include a Level 4 Acoustic Apprenticeship, a Diploma in Acoustics and Noise Control, or safety qualifications like IOSH Managing Safely.
