Almac Group in the UK seeks a Testing Group Leader to supervise Software Testing Analysts and Senior Analysts, guiding test strategy and delivery.

You will oversee resource scheduling, maintain project status, ensure test deliverables meet timelines and quality, and drive improvements across testing tools and processes within a regulated SDLC environment. Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will have a third level qualification in Computer Science or a related field, OR extensive relevant experience.
• They should have extensive experience with change management tools such as Azure DevOps (ADOS) or TFS, and have a solid background working on web-based, interactive voice response, and client-server projects.
• The role requires ability to evaluate and implement new tools and technologies, experience in testing randomisation schemas, knowledge of drug management and familiarity with industry regulatory requirements (GxP).
• Strong technical background in software and object-oriented systems development and testing, and ability to apply this knowledge to designing test strategies and adoption of new test tools technology.
• Knowledge of supply chain management is essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee resource scheduling, maintain and report project status, ensure test deliverables are completed to agreed timelines and quality standards.
• Implement and ensure compliance with formal software testing methodologies and best practices.
• Identify, recommend, and implement Testing Department tool and process improvements.
• Support team members in defining testing strategies and quality risk assessments.
• Ensure corporate compliance with the testing phase of the Almac Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and testing team compliance with the SDLC as a whole.
• Undertake the same project-specific roles and responsibilities as a Senior Software Testing Analyst, as required.
