Job summary

Oxford-based, hybrid Test & Systems Engineer role joining the engineering team. You’ll work across software testing, automation, systems troubleshooting and releases with Linux, Python, Docker and connected systems.

You’ll own testing, automate with Python and Bash, debug complex issues, collaborate with developers, and engage in Docker, Git and CI/CD workflows as part of testing and releases.

Qualifications

• Experience with Python and Bash scripting.
• Experience in software testing and QA.
• Familiarity with Docker.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Own software and systems testing, including regression, integration and end-to-end testing.
• Automate with Python and Bash, improving testing and processes.
• Investigate and debug complex issues using Linux, logs and CLI tools.
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce issues and validate fixes.
• Get hands-on with Docker, Git and CI/CD as part of testing and releases.
• Build broader systems knowledge by investigating issues across interconnected software.
• Influence testing processes as the engineering team and product develop.
