Job summary

Hackajob Ltd is partnering with Leonardo to hire for the role of Test Solution Design Engineer at our Edinburgh site. The position offers a permanent contract with hybrid working in the UK, with a salary range of £44,000 to £71,400 and a clear pathway across radar programmes and defence capabilities.

You will design, develop and integrate electronic test solutions, mentor engineers, and contribute to architectural alignment with other programme elements while navigating BPSS/NSV security

Qualifications

• Experience across the full design life-cycle.
• Experience working with electronics hardware.
• Experience with test solutions.
• Experience with integration, verification and qualification.

Responsibilities

• Support the creation and delivery of test solutions within a defined work package area, ensuring stakeholder requirements are met across performance, cost and schedule.
• Capture, analyse and mature stakeholder needs to determine the optimum technical approach.
• Design and development of electronic hardware solutions across the full design lifecycle from concept to qualification.
• Produce high-quality design documentation and reports with configuration control and compliance.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure architectural alignment with the programme.
