Test Engineer Lead (Automation/Java/BDD/AWS)

£65,000 - £85,000 dependant on experience.

Sanderson Recruitment is a Financial Services organisation undergoing a large digital platform transformation programme and is looking for a Test Lead to join the team.

Accountabilities

1. Development and implementation of comprehensive test plans and strategies to validate software functionality and ensure compliance with quality standards.
2. Creation and execution of automated test scripts, leveraging testing frameworks and tools to facilitate early defect detection.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyse requirements, participate in design discussions, and develop acceptance criteria to ensure thorough understanding of the software.
4. Perform root cause analysis for defects, working closely with developers to support defect resolution.
5. Participate in code reviews, promote a culture of code quality, and share knowledge within the team.
6. Stay informed of industry trends and contribute to the organization's technology communities to foster technical growth.
7. Required expertise in Java, BDD testing concepts, and Public Cloud (AWS)
