Job summary

La Fosse is seeking a Hands-On Test Manager to support a critical business systems programme in Liverpool. The role blends strategic test management with hands-on testing, coordinating with business users, product owners, analysts and external suppliers to ensure quality across the lifecycle.

You will own test execution on a specialist operational platform, collaborating with technology teams and vendors. The contract is 4 days per week, up to six months, with travel to client sites as required.

Qualifications

• Strong background in test planning and test execution.
• Experience creating and maintaining test scripts and test documentation.
• Experience supporting and coordinating UAT activities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working with third-party vendors.

Responsibilities

• Own test execution across the platform and ensure quality throughout the project life cycle.
• Bridge between business stakeholders, product owners, analysts and vendors.
• Balance test management with hands-on testing activities.
• Lead UAT coordination and ensure smooth sign-off from users.

You'll take ownership of test execution across a specialist operational platform, acting as the bridge between the business, technology teams, and external suppliers to ensure quality throughout the project life cycle.

Key requirements:

• Strong background in test planning, test execution, and defect management.
• Experience working with TBA products
• Experience creating and maintaining test scripts and test documentation.
• Ability to work closely with business users and subject matter experts to understand complex operational processes.
• Experience supporting and coordinating UAT activities.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working with business-critical integrated systems and third-party vendors.
• Comfortable operating in both a strategic test management capacity and a hands-on testing role.
• Experience working within the manufacturing industry
