Job summary

La Fosse Associates is recruiting a Hands On Test Manager for a critical business systems programme in Liverpool. The role combines test management with hands-on testing, working closely with business stakeholders, product owners, analysts and third-party vendors to ensure quality throughout the project lifecycle.

The position requires strong experience in test planning, execution and defect management, plus ability to coordinate UAT and manage stakeholders across the organisation.

Test Manager – £600 inside IR35 – Liverpool (4 days per week) – 6 months

Please note: This a contract role which requires candidates to be able to travel to clients sites when required.

La Fosse are seeking a Hands On Test Manager to support a critical business systems programme. This role will suit someone who enjoys balancing test management responsibilities with hands-on testing activities, working closely with business stakeholders, product owners, analysts, and third-party vendors.

You’ll take ownership of test execution across a specialist operational platform, acting as the bridge between the business, technology teams, and external suppliers to ensure quality throughout the project life cycle.

Key requirements:

• Strong background in test planning, test execution, and defect management.
• Experience working with TBA products
• Experience creating and maintaining test scripts and test documentation.
• Ability to work closely with business users and subject matter experts to understand complex operational processes.
• Experience supporting and coordinating UAT activities.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working with business-critical integrated systems and third-party vendors.
• Comfortable operating in both a strategic test management capacity and a hands-on testing role.
• Experience working within the manufacturing industry
