Our premium brand Automotive client is currently recruiting for the following role: Test Facilities Engineer - Automotive - £27.21/hr (Inside IR35) - Coventry/Midlands - 12 Months (potential for yearly renewal)

This role involves working within the Cross Functional Test Facilities across various Midlands sites (Coventry, Warwickshire), supporting Engineering Operations activities. The purpose of the role is to ensure the safe, smooth, efficient, and effective operation of the Engineering Operations Test Facilities used for Product Development. You will be required to demonstrate safe working practices throughout in line with the company's 'Destination Zero' policies, understanding your responsibilities to yourself and others in the workplace.

Primary Skills Required:

• A Level 4 qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, or relevant experience.
• Proven experience and understanding of facilities, processes, equipment, and leading technologies (e.g., experience in problem solving control systems).
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn new systems and processes.

Additional Experience:

• Technical expertise and experience with test facilities and control systems for AVL, ABB, and Horiba.
• Knowledge of Fuels.
• Experience with IATF 16949 or ISO 9001 standards and requirements.

Experience Required:

• Prior automotive facilities engineering experience related to a test environment.
• A Level 4 qualification in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline, or relevant experience.
• Functional Skills Level 2 or equivalent in English, Maths, and Science.
• Experience and understanding of facilities, processes, equipment, and leading technologies.
• Experience in problem solving control systems.
• Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to challenge existing thinking positively, building credibility and trust.
• Ability to follow written and spoken instructions, and interface well with customers.
• Attention to detail and ability to work quickly.
• Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office.
• Full UK driving license.
